Pilates
Pilates is a unique method of exercise that focuses on improving core strength, posture, body alignment and flexibility, making you stronger from the inside, out. It is a slow, controlled and flowing class where breathing and form are essential to its effectiveness.
Pilates helps to release tension, stress and tight areas in your body helping you to move more easily.
Pilates combines standing, seated and floor based exercises and all exercises can be modified and adapted.
Pilates was founded by Joseph Pilates in the 1920’s who believed there was a strong link between mental and physical health, and our clients tell us that after classes they leave feeling calm, relaxed and an inch taller and after just one class experience less back, neck and shoulder pain. Please bring a drink and mat, and wear comfy, loose clothing. We do this class in bare feet or socks so trainers are not essential.

Yoga by Emma
Emma has recently gained her 200hr Yoga Teacher qualification and specialises in Vinyasa Yoga along with Pranayama (breathing practices) and Meditation, her priority is to create a safe space for people to connect with themselves kindly, and to develop confidence in their own abilities. Bringing release from the inner turbulence of life by breathing and moving in a mindful way is what helps us to feel free in our body and clear and calm in our mind.
Yoga is like coming home, a journey where we guide ourselves back to a place of union, remembrance of our essence and who we truly are. A place of peace, wisdom, wonder and awe. A celebration of everything we are, here and now. Our poses on the mat are only part of the practice; we can learn so much from our breath, body and mind to bring Yoga into our life, on and off the mat. Together we can bring more love, gratitude and kindness into our lives through our practice.
Vinyasa Yoga is a journey that weaves a harmonious sequence of breath led movements that unfolds to help you experience a meditation in motion. Emma has designed her classes to take you through a journey to sooth the nervous system and calm the mind, while creating space, strength, balance and freedom in your body and life.

Hog™ Muscle & Fascia Release / Hog™ Core & More
Stretch and Release tight muscles and fascia with our HOG™ Release class and Improve flexibility, mobility, stability, balance and strength with our Core & More class.
The Hog is an amazing new tool developed by a Chartered Physiotherapist to help improve flexibility, mobility, stability, balance and strength and release tightness and tension in the body.
We will be standing, sitting, kneeling and laying on the HOG which will help release tight areas of the body, improve awareness to body alignment and posture and of course improve core strength, muscle tone and flexibility. The Hog is made from a memory foam and is light and easy to store at home.
You can purchase a HOG™ from the Lincolnshire Fitness and home delivery is available if within a 10 mile radius or can be posted with an extra charge.

Spin – Indoor Cycling
Spinning is a unique exercise class using a specially designed indoor cycle with a weighted flywheel.
With our market leading bikes, large TV screen and crystal clear sound system at our Burgh-le-Marsh studio, our Spinning classes have a reputation locally as providing the ultimate fun cardio workout.
Participants can burn upwards of 500 calories in a 50 minute class and really tone and strengthen the lower body and core muscles through a combination of Sprints, climbs and interval training.
Our skilled instructors will do the class with you, demonstrating and motivating throughout and keeping the music playlists fresh each week as you progress through the term.
A major advantage of Spinning is that each participant can control the level of intensity by adjusting the gear (resistance) of the bike, meaning that whether you are an elite athlete or a beginner, you can enjoy the same class together as a group.
Please bring a drink and a towel, firm-soled trainers or cycling shoes are recommended.

HIIT & Tone
HIIT & Tone is an intense, targeted and empowering workout that will burn and strip fat, targeting the most stubborn areas. Combining high and low intensity fitness with strength and conditioning to give you the BEST results from your workout.
Our online class uses dumbbells or kettlebells, whilst in our hour-long studio class we maximise the huge range of exercise equipment we have in a fun and varied circuit training format.

Triple A
Triple A is your complete Abs, Ass and Arms workout. This class is designed to tone and sculpt each one of these areas. Each week this class is carefully structured to include a multi –level of exercises so that you can work at your own pace, making it suitable for all ages and abilities. Get ready to see some amazing changes to your body.

Barre, Bums & Tums
A brilliant hybrid of two of our most popular classes. Barre, Bums and Tums is a low impact class designed to target those troublesome areas and lengthen and strengthen the body. This class will help you achieve long lean legs, a peachy bum and of course a flat toned tummy, not forgetting a toned upper-body.
A combination of standing body conditioning exercises and more traditional mat based moves. This class is perfect for all ages and a must for women who are 40+ to improve bone density and overall strength and tone…..with no leaping around involved!
Just a chair or surface to hold on to and a mat needed.

Pump & Tone
Pump and Tone is an incredibly effective workout in which participants use light to moderate weight barbells and dumbbells in a range of moves that are designed to target and tone muscles.
All participants have the option to do the moves with a very light weight until strength builds but the changes to your body shape will be amazing.
This is a low impact class and can be enjoyed by all ages and fitness levels, and our skilled instructors will guide you through each move to ensure your form is correct and you get the best possible results.
You’ll know you’ve had a workout, but will be itching to come back for more!
All equipment is provided in the studio and can be done with just dumbbells at home if you don’t have access to a barbell.

Young at Heart
Our Young at Heart class is a gentle, low impact class designed exclusively for the over-60’s. There’s strong evidence that people who stay active as they get older have a lower risk of heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, some cancers, depression and dementia.
This class will focus on mobility (keeping your joints moving with ease), flexibility (helping you bend and stretch) and strength of course, as well as doing just enough to get you a little bit out of breath and keep your heart healthy.
Mat, chair and small hand weights needed.

Fit For Life / Strong for Life
These brilliant classes are designed exclusively to help you maintain strength, bone health and stamina, helping you live life to the full whatever your age and current fitness levels.
Fit for Life is a fun, low impact, online class set to a toe-tapping soundtrack which helps you build stamina and confidence in the movement patterns that make up everyday life.
Strong for Life is our BRAND NEW and EXCLUSIVE Online and Studio Class using weights to help you build and maintain healthy bones and muscles.
These classes are suitable for all ages and levels, but are particularly suited to Middle-aged and upwards.
Just a Mat and some handweights needed.
